Cindie LawSchool Administrator Cindie Law. While living in Alaska, Cindie sought to express her creativity. Owning a Bearded Collie, Barclay, she had no luck finding a groomer. This prompted her enrollment, and she quickly excelled, in completing the Professional Dog Groomer Certification. Cindie has also been a member in good standing with the National Dog Groomers Association of America since 2005. Cindie has both retail and management experience in the grooming industry. Cindie is the Principle Designated School Official.
Margaret HerodAdministrator Margaret Herod is a professional groomer who has run an in home grooming service. Margaret is a graduate of DDNHA, Margaret taught with the Clark County School District for 28 years. Her knowledge of curriculum development and evaluation aid in structuring classwork for the varied elements of pet grooming. With a degree in studio and theatre arts, Margaret brings a creative touch to the Distinctive Dogs Natural Health Academy.  
Lucie StraubEducational Director, Financial Aid Officer Lucie Straub joined our staff in March 2008.  She has an Associates of Arts Degree from the University of North Florida.  Her love of animals, and wanting others to succeed in life, brought her to Distinctive Dogs Academy where she helps students fund their tuition.  She has financial and management experience in the public and private sector of the business community.  Lucie will always be open to any questions, concerns, or comments you may have and will work with you to get the funding you need to reach your goals. 
Ellen HirschornGrooming Instructor Ellen Hirschhorn is a professional groomer with nation-wide experience grooming on both the east and west coast. Ellen is a graduate of Distinctive Dogs Academy. With a diverse background in both the large corporate atmospheres and more personal settings, she can help prepare students for avariety of grooming environments. Ellen comes from a family of artists, and brings her precisely-honed skills and creative touch to Distinctive Dogs.
